desire

Desire
I keep it hidden
Forbidden
I never breathe
Blushing
When I think of you
I push it away
Pain
Like a knife with a cold blade
I saved the memory of you
Hollow
Never full of assurance
Heartless
I let emotion burn
Churn
In the depths of me
I’d rather cry
Than face it
Chased away by my own recollections
Perfection
I’m not whole
Cold
The night in which I lay awake
Contemplative
Alive in a haze
Beneath the surface
I’m afraid
I’m broken
I’ve spoken too much
To hide thoughts that haunt me
The breath of spring might awaken me
Laughter
I hope
I remember
I walk until the road ends
Sunshine
On my face
Displaced
My temperament
My way with words
My need to fly
You and darkness
Light and rain
Pain and mist
Ice and fire
Desire
I keep it hidden.

Wow, i really like the circular motion fo this poem! I also really liked the way in which you took each adjective you felt and expanded upon it!
Nice work, and keep posting!
